Coffee Girl

So a good friend of mine is constantly saying "When are You coming By for COFFEE!?!"  Well Mary this card's just for you my Friend.  I do love Gerda Steiner's Monthly Challenges and look forward to the beginning of each month where she graciously rewards us for playing with a new digital image for free!  I had fun with the MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge with this one as well.

Here's the inside.  It was great fun digging through my stamp sets.  Scary how many I've accumulated in such a short period of time.  What a fun way to get those creative juices flowing again after a long & tedious Tax Season!  Thanks again for stopping by.  I've got to jet & get this linked up to those card challenges before they expire.

A Pop of Color - Card Challenge #3

So what does one find herself doing when she needs to wind down a bit after 12 hours of tax preparation?  Reorganizing, truly more like digging out, her crafty space of course.  In the process I finally put all that Recollection & Coordinations card stock in ROYGBIV order!  I'm hoping this little burst of OCD energy will enable me to play along with the MFT (My Favorite Things) color challenges on a regular basis.  

So here's my first entry to the monthly MFT Color Challenge.  To be honest I pulled that card stock together over a week ago but couldn't come up with a design until Wednesday's weekly MFT Sketch Challenge design appeared. 

Think I'll have to play around a bit more often with that DieNamics BluePrint 8 die set.  Look at all those extra pieces that were created in the process!  More crafty goodness awaits.
